Are you repairing your saw arbors more frequently than you desire?

Would you like to improve cut quality, accuracy and reduce downtime? If the answer is yes, then you need to put Globe's 90 plus years of experience to work for you.

 

Globe offers factory direct inspection and repair services for all "13" & "16" series saw arbor assemblies. Globe will inspect your housing assembly to ensure it is within original manufacturing tolerances. In many cases a damaged housing can be salvaged by removing the affected area, rebore, install replacement sleeves and remachine to original factory specifications saving the cost of a complete housing. All arbor rebuilds include a new spindle, aircraft quality super precision ball bearings with brass case, seals, aluminum spindle cap, bearings iocknut and washers. A special synthetic high temperature lubricant is utilized to provide many years of trouble free service under normal operating conditions.

One service we continue to offer our customers is the Chain Rebuild Program (see insert at right). If you own and operate a Globe precision block chain saw, you know the high quality and precision cut you can get when your machine is properly tuned and maintained. Our computerized block chain manufacturing process ensures top quality components are used to make the industry best, Globe chain. We manufacture our own chain, because we can't trust the performance of our equipment to just anyone. Quality control of each component is managed at each step of the manufacturing process. The result, a matched set of quality precision Globe chains controlling your panel through the saw.

Field Service Tip
In the field we see improper greasing of arbor bearings. This will cause premature failure of the bearings and damage to the arbor housing and arbor parts. This leads to costly down time and repairs. We recomend that the bearings be hand packed with Mobiltemp SHC 32 grease making sure the bearing cavity is full. This does not mean filling the arbor cavity full of grease.Please contact us for  complete instructions on installing bearings in your saw arbors.
