Burelbach Moulded Doorskin Technology

wpe4.jpg (9898 bytes)The Handling and Processing of MDF moulded doorskins after they exit the press presents the equipment manufacturer with a number of challenges which have been perfected by Globe’s sister company, Burelbach Industries. Burelbach engineers have spent several years developing solutions and as a result have installed several systems into the Masonite Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of this product.

Door Panels are pressed in pairs, the resulting panel has a profiled section and is generally somewhat "wavey" in nature. The panel has to be trimmed and ultimately split in such a way that the cuts align perfectly with the profile of the panel. Special alignment and sawing equipment are required to achieve this.

Special Stackers and feeders were specifically developed to handle the product. These were required to operate consistently at feed rates of up to 30 panels per minute. Burelbach now has dozens of these units operating in the industry.

In Addition to Trimming, stacking, feeding and cooling, Burelbach also offers a complete paintline system. Panels are conveyed through a continuous coating lines and curing oven to apply the required amount of primer coats.

Burelbach moulded doorskin lines are custom designed to suit your parameters in terms of budgetary, space and production requirements. Our sales staff is experienced in the field and are able to advise you in plant layout and equipment selection giving you the most cost effective and competitive solution in today’s market.
