Job Title: Parts Manager
Department: Parts Department
Reports To: Customer Support Manager
Summary: Globe Machine Manufacturing Company, an
established progressive company with a proud 90 year heritage has an excellent
opportunity in our Parts Department. Globe is a leader in developing
engineering, manufacturing and materials handling solutions for the Building
Products and Pulp and Paper Industries.
We are seeking a Parts Department Manager who will be responsible for assisting
customers by answering various parts-related questions, conducting associated
research to determine correct replacement parts for our customers' equipment,
preparing formal quotations, and entering and expediting orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• The Parts Manager will be responsible for generating new business and
developing solutions for our customers.
• Assisting customers with technical problems and/or questions regarding parts
• Promoting of sales of parts via telephone, e-mail and postal correspondence
• Responding to Field Service Representative inquiries and requests for parts

The successful candidate should possess the following:
• Technical degree and/or experience in technical customer service environment
is required
• Good mechanical/technical aptitude
• Proficient computer skills, with experience utilizing MS Office applications
(Outlook, Word and Excel), work in an Integrated System a plus
• Proven phone skills
