Globe’s Advanced Composites Equipment group accepted a December order from an existing tier one aerospace customer. The scope of this project will enhance the capabilities and performance of a carbon fiber composite manufacturing system originally supplied by Globe.
Scheduled production rate increases demand incremental system improvements, including additional automation where manual methods may have sufficed at lower production rates. The ACE group expects additional orders in Q1 2018 targeting comprehensive automation and enabling processes integrated to typically stand-alone composite manufacturing systems.
